On June 4, 2022 the Guild hosted Dario Tubiana from 10:00 am to noon for a two-hour Zoom course. As an Italian knitwear designer and instructor, Dario, has contributed designs to UK magazines such as “The Knitter” and “Simply Knitting” and collaborates with international wool and needle brands including MYak, Sheep’s, Lang Yarn, and Prym. He has worked as a Knitwear Designer at United Colors of Benetton and continues to teach knitting and embroidery techniques locally as well as internationally, including at Vogue Knitting Virtual events. 

The techniques in the 3D Embroidery class can be applied to just about any finished piece, including hats, bags, edges or pockets of sweaters — anywhere you’d like a bit of personalization.
